Privacy Policy
JerkMesh is designed for anonymous adult video chat without a public account for the basic flow. Anonymous does not mean invisible or risk-free, so this page explains what may be processed and why.
Data JerkMesh may process
- Technical data such as socket IDs, temporary user IDs, timestamps, error logs, and connection state.
- Device and browser information needed to support camera, microphone, layout, security, and abuse controls.
- IP-derived data such as country detection and IP hashes used for rate limits, bans, and moderation. Raw IP addresses should not be exposed publicly.
- Selected age, preferred country, preferred age range, and tags or interests if you choose to use them.
- Report metadata, selected report reasons, involved user identifiers, and moderation status.
- Report snapshots or chat transcript snippets when a report is filed and the browser/app can provide them.
- Ban, block, skip, queue, match, and rate-limit records used to operate the service and reduce abuse.
Camera, microphone, and chat
Video and microphone access happens through your browser after permission is granted. JerkMesh uses WebRTC signaling and Socket.IO communication to help connect users, and live video streams are not presented as permanently stored recordings by JerkMesh.
Reports may include snapshots or transcript snippets when available, and other users may still try to record their own screen. Do not share personal details or show anything you cannot risk another person seeing or copying.
Reports and safety records
When you report a user or simulated match, JerkMesh may store the report reason, metadata about the session, related identifiers, snapshots, and transcript snippets when available. These records help moderation review abuse, block rematches, rate-limit harmful behavior, and restrict access when needed.
Cookies and local storage
JerkMesh may use cookies, local storage, and session storage for preferences, age selection, admin sessions, CSRF protection, matching state, and basic site functionality. Your browser settings may let you clear or limit this storage, but some features may stop working correctly.
Ads and third parties
JerkMesh may use third-party ad or monetization partners. These partners may process technical, browser, device, cookie, or interaction data through their own scripts or similar technologies. Their practices are governed by their own policies, not this page alone.
Retention
Some operational records are temporary, such as queue entries, rate limits, skip cooldowns, and certain blocks. Other records, such as reports, bans, analytics counters, or audit logs, may be kept longer to operate the service, investigate abuse, and protect users. JerkMesh does not promise an exact deletion timeline unless one is implemented in the app.
Your privacy expectations
Use anonymous video chat carefully. Other users may try to record, identify, scam, or pressure you despite the rules. Keep personal details off camera, use skip and report tools, and read the Safety Guide before starting.
